Cheesy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

6 medium potatoes
1 c. (4 oz.) mild Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
butter (on top)
paprika
Preparation

Cook potatoes in boiling salted water about 30 minutes, or until tender.
Chill.
Peel and grate potatoes.
Combine cheese, milk and butter in saucepan.
Cook over low heat until melted. Remove from heat.
Stir in sour cream, onion, salt and pepper. Fold cheese mixture into potatoes.
Pour into greased casserole dish.
Dot with butter; sprinkle with paprika.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
