Tinsley'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. real butter
1 lb. sugar
1 lb. plain flour
1 lb. eggs (9 small or 8 large), separated
Preparation

Beat egg yolks until light yellow (about 5 minutes).
Add flour slowly to egg yolks.
Slowly add sugar, then butter.
Beat egg whites, then fold into batter. Grease tube pan with butter, then shake about 2 tablespoons of flour around sides and bottom of pan. Preheat oven to 125\u00b0.
Bake at 150\u00b0 until top of cake springs back. Then cook on 200\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours until done.
