Apricot Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks
    2 c. flour
    1 c. nuts
    1/2 jar apricot preserves
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and egg yolks; mix in flour.
    Cover bottom of 8 x 8-inch with 1/2 of mixture.
    Spread on preserves and nuts. Top with other 1/2 of mixture.
    Cook for about 40 minutes or until brown in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Cut into squares.
