Sesame Cucumber Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 c. thinly sliced cucumbers
1 Tbsp. salt
2 green onions, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation

Put cucumbers in a colander and set over a dish to drain. Sprinkle salt over cucumbers and toss. Let stand 30 minutes. Rinse and drain well. In another bowl, combine onions, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, oil, sesame seeds and pepper. Add cucumbers and toss. Cover and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours. Serves 10.
