Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pot roast (chuck roast)
    6 to 8 potatoes
    3 onions
    3 carrots
    flour
    1 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Coat roast with flour.
    Put in deep pan with 1 tablespoon oil. Brown on both sides (burn, the browned the better).
    Cover roast with water, fill until about 2-inches from the top.
    Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Makes gravy and vegetables in one pan.
