Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. soft margarine
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening or margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well and chill.
    Roll into small balls.
    Dip in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes 5 dozen.
