Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    1 egg
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    4 Tbsp. molasses
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening together.
    Beat in egg and molasses. Mix remaining dry ingredients together and add to form a stiff dough.
    Roll into walnut size balls and roll balls in granulated sugar.
    Place on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
    They will flatten out when baked.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
