Stovies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large potatoes
    4 onions
    2 heaping Tbsp. baking grease
    3/4 c. water
    parsley
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Peel and slice vegetables.
    Place baking grease in bottom of large iron skillet.
    Layer in this order in frypan: potatoes, onions (sprinkle with salt, pepper and parsley).
    Repeat.
    After all layers go on, pour water over.
    Cover skillet and cook on medium heat for about 30 minutes.
    Serves 8.
