5 Day Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. cucumbers
    cold water
    1 c. pickling salt
    boiling water
    white vinegar
    sugar
    2 Tbsp. mixed pickling spice
    grape leaves
Preparation
    1st Day:
    Put cucumbers (not more than 2-inches in diameter) in crock.
    Mix 2 quarts of cold water and 1 cup pickling salt. Pour over cucumbers and cover.
