Cajun Style Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 large sweet potatoes (about 3 lb.), peeled and cut into 1-inch chunks
1/4 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/3 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. pecan halves
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation

In 3-quart saucepan over high heat, bring potatoes and enough water to cover to boil.
Reduce heat to low; simmer, covered, ??? minutes until potatoes are just tender; drain.
