Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pie shell
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. light brown sugar
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    3/4 c. white corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    pecan halves for top of pie
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, syrup, salt, vanilla and chopped pecans.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Place pecan halves on top. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
