Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. milk

Preparation

Sift dry ingredients; add onion.
Add milk and egg, stirring lightly.
