Cranberry Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 3/4 c. whole cranberries, crushed
    1/2 c. 100% apple juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. allspice
    1/2 large or small apple, cored and chopped
Preparation
    You may use a food processor to mince whole cranberries and later the peeled and cored apple using the mince blade.
    Combine minced cranberries, apple juice, apple bits and allspice in a medium non-reactive sauce pan.
    Bring to a boil, lower heat. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes.
    Serve warm or chilled.
    Best when made a day ahead.
