Mushroom Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. water
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 Tbsp. minced parsley
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Blend mushroom soup with 1/2 cup water.
    Measure out 1/4 cup soup mixture and combine with ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, parsley, egg and salt.
    Shape into meatballs, about 1 1/2-inches in diameter.
    Brown in 1 tablespoon of shortening in large skillet. Add remaining soup mixture; cover and cook over low heat about 15 minutes; stir occasionally.
    Makes 4 servings.
