Crab Maryland - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. crab
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. cream or more
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 can mushrooms, drained (optional)
    sherry
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add crab and heat thoroughly. Sprinkle with flour and seasoning. Add cream and toss lightly. Add mushrooms.
    Just before serving, add 1 or 2 tablespoons sherry. (Can substitute lobster or shrimp.) Serve over toast or rice.
