Microwave Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
    2 c. hot water
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 1/4 c. milk
    12 oz. sharp cheese (2 c.)
    1/3 c. flour
Preparation
    Combine macaroni, water, butter, onion and salt in a 2-quart casserole dish.
    Cover.
    Cook on High 5 minutes, then Low 5 minutes.
    Stir twice during cooking.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Cover.
    Cook on High 12 to 15 minutes or until macaroni is tender and sauce is thickened and bubbly, stirring every 3 minutes.
