Tennessee Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. hot water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    4 large eggs
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1/2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    9 slices white bread with crust, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
    Bourbon Sauce
Preparation
    Combine water and sugar in a bowl, stirring until sugar dissolves.
    Add milk and eggs, stirring with a wire whisk until blended.
    Stir in coconut and next 5 ingredients.
    Add bread cubes; let stand 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan; bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
    Serve warm with Bourbon Sauce.
    Makes 12 servings.
