Mom'S Blender Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 - unbaked pie shell
    2 - eggs
    2/3 cup sugar
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup light corn syrup
    2 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 cup pecans
    12 - pecan halves
Preparation
    Put eggs, sugar, salt, corn syrup, butter & vanilla in blender and blend well.
    Add 1 c pecans and blend just enough to chop nuts coarsely.
    Pour into pie shell, place pecan halves on top.
    Bake in hot oven (425 degrees) 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking until top is lightly browned, about 30 minutes.
