White House Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1 c. sugar
1 c. dark corn syrup (may use white or half and half)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 c. chopped pecans
2 unbaked pie shells
Preparation

Mix sugar, salt and eggs together.
Have margarine at room temperature or melt in microwave and add to sugar mixture.
Then add vanilla, syrup and mix.
Add pecans last.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
