Waldorf Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 oz. red food color
    1 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cream together Crisco, sugar and eggs.
    Sift dry ingredients 3 times.
    Add flour mixture to Crisco-sugar mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Add vanilla and red food color; beat well.
    Fold in soda, dissolved in vinegar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
