Old-Fashioned Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 7 oz. elbow macaroni (about 2 c.)
2 Tbsp. grated onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 c. shredded American cheese (about 3/4 lb.)
2 c. thin white sauce
1 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Cook macaroni.
Place half the macaroni in ungreased 2-quart casserole dish.
Sprinkle with half the onion, salt, pepper and cheese.
Repeat.
Pour white sauce over casserole.
Dot with butter. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 15 minutes longer.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
