Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1 egg white
2 1/2 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
8 c. pecans
Preparation

Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl; mix well with electric mixer (until light in color).
Add pecans; stir until evenly coated.
Spread pecans in a greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
Remove to waxed paper while still warm, cool.
Store in airtight container.
Yields 8 cups.
