Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter or margarine
1/2 c. butter Crisco
5 large eggs
3 c. sugar
3 c. plain White Lily flour, sifted
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. lemon flavoring
8 oz. 7-Up
Preparation

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar thoroughly; then add one egg at a
time.
Then add sifted flour with a pinch of salt, a third at a time.
Continue beating on low for 3 minutes.
Add vanilla and lemon.
Then
on
low
add 7-Up, a third at a time until mixed well.
Increase
speed
to\thigher for 3 minutes, then reduce to low speed for 1 minute.
Pour batter into Bundt pan sprayed
with Pam.
Bake\tat
350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Test with cake tester;
if it comes out clean, cool for 7 minutes.
Then turn cake
out
on
a cake disk.\tLeave uncovered until cool. Then put cake on dish.
