Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. vanilla
4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Preparation

These cookies are fun for children to make, cut and decorate. They also taste good, especially when frosted with the frosting (recipe below).
