Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. chuck roast or round steak
    1 onion, diced
    1 tomato, diced
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Brown roast in skillet with oil.
    Add all ingredients.
    Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until fork-tender.
    Serve with pasta or rice.
    Use the sauce as a topping.
