Lime Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 lb. cucumbers
    2 gal. water
    1 1/2 c. lime, dissolved
    5 lb. sugar
    3 pt. vinegar
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    1 tsp. ground allspice
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mace
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Slice cucumbers to desired thickness, 1/4 to 1/2-inches.
    Let stand in lime water for 24 hours.
    Drain and soak in fresh water for 4 hours.
    Change water every hour.
    Take out and drain.
