Old-Fashioned Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. light molasses
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine the first 5 ingredients.
    Stir constantly until small amount forms a hard ball in cold water.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Stir thoroughly.
    Pour evenly over 4 quarts unsalted, popped corn.
    Mix well.
    Form quickly into medium sized balls, using buttered hands.
    Makes 12.
