Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. strawberries
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice (ReaLemon)
    1 regular box strawberry jello
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Bring water and sugar to a boil.
    Dissolve cornstarch in 3/4 cup water and add to sugar mixture.
    Cook on low heat 10 minutes or until clear.
    Add salt, jello and juice.
    (Add red cake coloring if desired.)
    Cool slightly, then add fresh strawberries. Fill baked pie shell.
