Oriental Spareribs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 pork spareribs
4 Tbsp. honey
4 Tbsp. soy sauce
3 Tbsp. catsup
1 tsp. chili powder
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp. mustard powder
2 tsp. paprika
2 Tbsp. dry sherry
1/4 c. orange juice
4 Tbsp. wine vinegar
2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

Wash and dry spareribs.
Meanwhile, combine rest of ingredients in a large bowl.
Marinate ribs at least 1 hour or overnight.
In skillet, wok or Dutch oven, brown ribs in 2 tablespoons oil.
When slightly brown, pour the marinade over, reduce heat to a simmer, cover and cook 40 minutes, turning twice during cooking period.
When ribs are ready, they should be orangey-brown in color.
Serve immediately with rice.
Serves 4 to 6.
