Garden Minestrone Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sweet sausage
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. diced onion
    1 clove minced garlic
    1 c. sliced carrots
    1 tsp. basil, crumbled
    3/4 c. diced zucchini
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
    1 1/2 c. water
    3 beef bouillon cubes
    2 c. shredded cabbage
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (1 lb.) can Great Northern beans
Preparation
    Slice sausage about 1/2 inch thick; brown in oil in Dutch oven.
    Add garlic, onion, carrots and basil; cook 5 minutes.
    Add zucchini, tomatoes with liquid, bouillon, cabbage, water, salt and pepper.
    Bring soup to boil; reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes. Add beans (undrained) and cook another 15 to 20 minutes.
