Cherry Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. reserved cherry juice
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 lb. can cherries
Preparation
    In a saucepan blend in first three ingredients.
    Add reserved juice.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring until thickens and comes to a full boil.
    Stir in butter and lemon juice.
    Add cherries that were drained.
    Cool.
