Caramel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. scalded milk (skim or powdered milk can be used)
    4 Tbsp. flour
    3 eggs
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt 1 cup of sugar in a heavy pan or skillet and stir until all lumps are gone and it is completely liquid, but do not let it scorch.
    Heat milk to scalding point but do not let it boil.
    Add hot milk to caramelized sugar and cook until smooth.
    Mix flour and remaining sugar and slowly beat into milk mixture.
    Beat egg yolks and add slowly to mixture, beating constantly.
    Add butter and cook until quite thick.
    Add vanilla.
