Swiss Style Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1 1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 c. grated Swiss cheese
    1/2 c. minced parsley
    3 green onions
    1 pt. heavy cream
Preparation
    Mix potatoes, salt and pepper.
    Blend butter and garlic salt and coat a 3-quart casserole generously.
    Put in one layer of potatoes and one layer of mushrooms; sprinkle with cheese (reserve some for topping), parsley and onion.
    Continue repeating layers until all ingredients are used.
    Finish with layer of potatoes. Pour cream all over; sprinkle with cheese and bits of butter. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour or until potatoes are done.
    Serves 8.
