Mother'S Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1/2 c. sour milk
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with sour milk; mix well.
    Fold in mashed bananas.
    Pour into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Can also be made as a layer cake.
