Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3 egg yolks
    2 3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Beat egg yolks into milk and stir into dry mixture.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly over low to medium heat.
    (Note:
    You will have lumps if not very careful.)
    Boil 1 minute.
    Remove from heat and stir in 2 tablespoons margarine and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Cool.
