Oliebollen(Dutch Holiday Dessert) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cakes yeast
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3 c. flour
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. raisins
    1 Tbsp. candied orange peel, chopped
    1/2 lemon rind, grated off
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in deep bowl in 3 tablespoons lukewarm milk.
    In another bowl, put flour.
    Stir in egg, one at a time with wooden spoon.
    Add rest of milk, slowly.
    Add sugar raisins, orange and lemon peels.
    Add this mixture to yeast and stir.
    Cover with cloth and rise for 1 1/2 hours.
    Add salt, then deep fry a tablespoon at a time; drain on paper towel.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
