Fresh Pork With Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pork butt
    4 large carrots
    4 large parsnips
    1 small head red cabbage, quartered
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Simmer pork for 45 minutes.
    Add vegetables and salt and cook for 45 minutes longer or until tender.
    Cut pork in thin slices and vegetables, except cabbage, into thin strips.
    Serves 3 or 4.
