Cranberry Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. softened butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. sour milk or 1 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. fresh cranberries, chopped
    1 c. cornmeal
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar. Beat eggs. Add to butter-sugar mixture. Add milk and mix well. Sift dry ingredients together and add gradually to liquid mixture. Fold in cranberries.
    Pour batter into a 9-inch square pan. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until center springs back when pressed lightly.
