Rice Chex Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. crushed Rice Chex cereal
1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 c. cashews, split
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. Angel Flake coconut
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients; mix thoroughly.
Spread half of mixture evenly in buttered 9 x 13-inch baking dish; pat down. Spread ice cream evenly over top.
Sprinkle remaining cereal mixture over ice cream; pat lightly.
Cover and freeze.
When ready to serve, remove from freezer and cut into squares.
Makes 12 to 15 servings.
