Ingredients

3/4 c. butter flavored Crisco
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream together the Crisco, butter and sugar in a large mixer bowl.
Add eggs and vanilla; blend well.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
Blend dry mix into creamed mixture.
Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 9 minutes (do not overbake).
Cookies will be soft and puffy during baking and will flatten while cooling.
Cool on cookie sheet resting on wire rack until set for a minute.
Remove to wire rack to completely cool.
