Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. shortening
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Spoon flour into dry measuring cup.
Level off and pour flour into bowl.
Add baking powder and salt into flour and mix.
Cut in shortening with fork resembling coarse meal.
Add milk, stir with fork until all ingredients are moistened.
Drop by spoonfuls into hot broth and cook.
