Shoo-Fly Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. Grape-Nuts cereal
    1/2 c. water
    3 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/8 Tbsp. salt
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Combine cereal and water; let stand until water is absorbed. Blend eggs, sugar, syrup, butter, vanilla and salt.
    Fold in softened cereal.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until filling is puffed completely across top.
