Top Of The Stove Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white rice (not quick cooking rice)
    4 c. milk
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. raisins
    small amount of cinnamon
Preparation
    Cover rice with 1 quart water.
    Bring to a boil; cover and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes or until water is evaporated. In a bowl, beat eggs, sugar and salt together.
    Add egg mixture to milk.
    Then slowly add egg mixture to rice.
    Bring all to a boil, then remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and raisins.
    Pour in large bowl.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Pudding will thicken as it cools.
