The Max Family Christmas Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 (1 oz.) bottles red food coloring
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. cocoa
2 large eggs
1 1/3 sticks butter, softened
10 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 lb. powdered sugar
2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix flour through eggs with an electric mixer.
Spray three 9-inch round cake pans with Pam.
Pour batter evenly into pans.
Bake for 20 minutes or until done (test with toothpick).
Cool for 10 minutes on rack.
Remove from pans carefully.
