Summer Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. salad oil
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1/2 medium green pepper, finely chopped
    1 (2 oz.) jar pimento, chopped
    1/2 tsp. caraway seed
Preparation
    Combine and heat vinegar, sugar, oil and salt until sugar dissolves.
    Pour over sauerkraut.
    Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and chill several hours or overnight.
    Serves 6.
