Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Jiffy cornbread mix (make according to directions; do not bake)
    1 can creamed corn
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 onion, chopped
    1 jar (small) picante sauce
    1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Add creamed corn to cornbread mix.
    Set aside.
    Brown hamburger and onion.
    Add picante sauce and simmer 10 minutes. Grease 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Pour 1/2 bread mixture in pan.
    Add hamburger mixture; sprinkle grated cheese over hamburger.
    Top with remaining cornbread dough.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
