Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1 stick butter
8 oz. chopped dates
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Rice Krispies
coconut
Preparation

Cook sugar, butter and dates for 5 minutes.
Take off stove and add pecans, vanilla and Rice Krispies.
Mix well.
Drop (by teaspoon) mixture and roll balls in coconut.
Cool on wax paper.
