Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    3/4 c. oleo, melted
    2 c. pecans
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix by package directions.
    Pour 1/2 in greased oblong pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Melt caramels with milk and butter, stirring constantly.
    Pour over cake.
    Sprinkle 1 cup nuts and chips over this.
    Pour remaining batter over filling. Sprinkle with remaining nuts.
    Bake 20 minutes longer.
