Potato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Irish potatoes, cooked, mashed and cooled
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. raisins, plumped
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. milk
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
5 tsp. cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. each cloves and allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix ingredients together well, saving juice of raisins.
Use juice to get proper consistency for cake mix.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
