Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks oleo
2 eggs
2 tsp. soda
2 c. applesauce
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Combine sugar, oleo and eggs.
(Add soda to applesauce and let stand.)
Beat in dry ingredients, then add applesauce, raisins and nuts.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for about 1 1/4 hours in a tube pan.
